Donnie Yantis
Coach Donnie Yantis is a highly respected football coach and mentor known for his exceptional leadership and deep understanding of the game at every level—from high school to NCAA Division I. With a career defined by both player development and competitive success, Coach Yantis has consistently built high-performing teams and shaped the lives of countless student-athletes.
Since 2022, Coach Yantis has led the Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) Plano football program to remarkable heights, guiding the team to three consecutive TAPPS Division I playoff appearences along with in 2022 State Championship appearance. PCA. The next year he guided the team to the state semi-finals. . His impact at PCA Plano continues to reflect his ability to cultivate excellence on and off the field.
Before arriving at PCA Plano, Yantis served as Head Coach at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, where he posted an impressive 20-2 record over two seasons. His success there followed by a four-year stint with the Arizona State University Sun Devils, where he served in multiple roles, including Tight Ends Coach, Special Teams Assistant, Assistant Athletic Director, and Recruiting Coordinator.
Prior to ASU, Coach Yantis made history as the founding head coach of Arizona Christian University's football program. Under his leadership, the team captured a conference championship and ranked 20th nationally in both scoring and total offense—a testament to his offensive expertise and ability to build programs from the ground up.
Earlier in his career, Coach Yantis spent 14 years as the Head Coach at Paradise Valley High School in Arizona, where he developed 16 Division I athletes and built a respected and competitive program.
Throughout his career, Coach Yantis has earned a reputation as a top-tier coach with a passion for mentorship, player development, and excellence at every level of competition.
