Prestonwood Christian Academy has named Matthew Neidigk as its new Head Girls Basketball Coach for the 2026–27 school year, bringing one of the most accomplished coaching resumes in Texas private school basketball to the Lions program.
Coach Neidigk joins PCA with an outstanding record of success, leadership, and program development, bringing nearly two decades of head coaching experience and a proven record of success in building highly competitive programs.
Most recently, Neidigk served as Head Girls Basketball Coach at Concordia Lutheran High School since 2007 and Athletic Director since 2015. During his tenure, he compiled an impressive 467 career victories, guided his program to eight Final Four appearances, and earned State Runner-Up honors three times.
In recognition of his exceptional leadership and success, Neidigk was named the 2024–25 TAPPS 6A Coach of the Year.
His extensive coaching background also includes service as an Assistant Athletic Director, Teacher/Coach at Klein Collins High School, and Head Football Coach at both Lutheran High North in Houston, Texas, and Lutheran North High School in Macomb, Michigan.
Coach Neidigk holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Broad Field Social Studies from Concordia University–Wisconsin, where he was awarded the Education Presidential Scholarship.

The PCA community is also excited to welcome the entire Neidigk family. His wife, Lindsay, will join the Lower School faculty as a 4th Grade teacher. Their children include Jackson, a junior at the University of Arkansas; Ryan, who will be a senior at PCA; Lauren, an incoming ninth-grade student; and Aly, who will be entering seventh grade.
