Competing on the North Texas PGA All American Tour, PCA 7th Grade student Shirley Park delivered one of her strongest performances of the season, firing rounds of 70 and 71 to finish at 3-under par and capture championships in both the Girls 11-14 division and the Girls 11-18 overall division.

Two rounds. Two victories. One impressive statement.

Park opened the tournament with a 70, finishing 2-under par and immediately putting herself in position to contend. Rather than letting the pressure of the leaderboard change her approach, she came back the following day with another steady round, carding a 71 — 1-under par — to finish at 3-under for the tournament.

That consistency proved to be the difference.

Park’s performance earned her the title in the Girls 11-14 division while also placing her at the top of the entire Girls 11-18 field.

The accomplishment is even more impressive considering the level of competition found on the NTPGA All American Tour. The Northern Texas PGA Junior Tour is one of the largest junior golf programs in the country, with approximately 4,000 junior golfers ages 7-19 competing throughout the region.

For Park, however, competing against talented fields is nothing new.

Earlier this year, she earned a spot in the prestigious 2026 Texas Girls’ Invitational, a 54-hole Legends Junior Tour event at Horseshoe Bay Resort’s Apple Rock course. Park was one of the NTPGA players included in the tournament field, giving her another opportunity to test her game against some of the top junior girls in Texas.

That experience has continued to show in her game.

This weekend, Park showed the kind of composure that separates a good tournament from a championship performance. A 70 on the opening day put her in contention, but following it with a 71 was what ultimately sealed the deal.

There was no major drop-off. No retreat from the leaderboard. Just two rounds of steady, confident golf.

And when the final score was posted, Park had done something special — finishing 3-under par and standing alone as champion of both her age division and the overall Girls 11-18 competition.

For a young golfer continuing to build her game, weekends like this can become turning points.

Park’s latest performance was certainly one to remember.

Two rounds. Three-under par. Two championships.

And another big step forward for one of PCA’s rising golfers.
